Minecraft! Minecraft is on ever gamer’s minds lately and the Internet is exploding with Minecraft content. So, I am also bringing something to the table. Here are 5 Reasons That Minecraft is the Best Game Ever.
1. Sandbox
Everyone loves to fidget, Come on admit it. We are all pretty much scientist in the sense that we like to experiment. So, Mojang made it’s game full of things that you can experiment with. This is why you see all of those crazy Redstone videos everywhere. And it’s not like other sandbox games don’t exist. It’s just that Minecraft has so much content with endless possibilities.
2. Creative Content Creators
Minecraft has endless possibilities as we discussed earlier so this leads to a lot of interesting videos being uploaded. I find it fascinating that so many sub-genres can fit inside one main genre like in the Minecraft community you can find videos on Redstone, Crazy Builds, Manhunt, Speedrunning, role play, trolls, Let’s plays and much more all under the same umbrella. It’s just crazy. And It’s not like only a thousand people watch these videos…No, No, No…These videos are in demand that’s why even when Minecraft celebrates it’s 11th anniversary it also enjoy the Internet Crown.
3. Suitable for all Gamers
Another factor in Minecraft’s success is that it is suitable for everyone. You can’t swear in the chat and there is no blood or gore so it is good for children. It has action, monsters, boss fights and pvp for action lovers. It has creative mode which conveniently explains itself. It has support for mods (Bedrock edition) so if you want you can easily expand the game to be even better than it already is. My point here is Minecraft is a easily likeable game for everyone.
4. Extremely Competitive
As, I said Minecraft can be play in lots of different ways and thus there’s a lot of ways players can compete with one and other. Especially now that Minecraft has Global servers where you can plays lots of different mini-games. You even compete without joining any servers like doing manhunts, speedruns, build battles that kind of thing. Since, Minecraft has such a big player base it is easy to find competition and have iconic rivalries. You know like the Dream vs Technoblade rivalry.
5. The Price Tag
Yeah! Shocking, I know. Why would a price tag be a good thing? See Minecraft is obviously the greatest game of all time so a lot of people want to play it. I fell sorry for those who can’t afford it but I think it’s a good thing because if Minecraft went Free to Play then the player base would increase significantly and the amount of trolls and hacker would also increase. Minecraft wouldn’t make any profit and it would be unsustainable for the developers to get rid of hacker and solve everyone’s bugs or glitches. Everyone will then ransack the game of all the content it has to offer and then move on to something new just like what happened with Fortnite.
All in all if you want to play a game that will give you lots of joy for a good lifetime then go ahead and buy Minecraft. But which one should you buy? Java or Bedrock? That’s a story for a another time. Tell me in the comment which game do you think is the greatest and why?
